The most technically advanced sneaker VEJA has ever made, built almost entirely from the earth.

VEJA has spent two decades proving that a sneaker can be both ethically made and genuinely desirable, and the Salar is the clearest expression of that. Co-developed with Vibram, the outsole combines Amazonian rubber and sugarcane-based EVA with Vibram's trail technology on a silhouette clean enough for the city. The upper is Alveomesh, a technical fabric woven entirely from recycled polyester, with suede and leather panel accents for structure in the muted Ardoise Taupe Black colorway. The same sourcing logic runs through every layer: 49% sugarcane bio-based EVA midsole, Amazonian rubber and organic cotton insole, 100% recycled polyester lining and laces. Made in Brazil, certified B-Corp, and eligible for VEJA's in-house cobbler repair program.
