A tempered glass and aluminum design makes this system's speakers appear to float in the air.
Born from an art-school design concept that went viral, the Transparent Speaker is a display-worthy audio system. It's built primarily from tempered glass with a black aluminum frame, which allows the dual 3-inch full-range drivers and 6.5-inch sub to "float" in space. Built-in Bluetooth supports direct wireless audio, while a powered "Toaster Slot" and USB port in the back allows for connection of WiFi-based streaming solutions. It also has a built-in Class D amplifier with embedded digital signal processing, 3.5mm line-in jacks in the front and back, a line out in the back and a switch enabling two units to be hooked together in a stereo pair, front panel treble, bass, and volume controls, and a classic flip-style power switch.
