The recycled aluminum structure of this wireless speaker is inspired by 1950s Brutalist architecture.
Brutalist architecture emerged during post-war reconstruction in the 1950s, emphasizing materials over aesthetics. The angular forms that define the movement inform this speaker from Transparent. Crafted from 70% consumer-recycled aluminum and in development for three years, it has a pair of 3-inch tweeters, one facing forwards, and one off to the side. Those are paired with a 6.5-inch side-facing woofer in a ported design to deliver deeper bass. Bluetooth 5.2 joins Wifi as a wireless connection option, with the latter supporting high-res audio up to 24-bit/192kHz, AirPlay 2, Tidal Connect, and Spotify Connect.
