The Timex Reissue 1971 Velocity is a classic timepiece inspired by '60s design and '70s racing.
Timex is bringing another classic design out of the vault with the 1971 Velocity reissue. Equally inspired by late '60s modern design and the '70s racing aesthetic, the Velocity features a stainless steel cushion-shaped case with circular brushing and a friction-fit aluminum bezel with a white elapsed timing scale. Under the domed acrylic crystal is the centerpiece of the watch — the dial. Red crosshair lines run through the center with a lined checkerboard pattern around the periphery and applied dot hour markers, with a date window at three o'clock. Emphasizing the racing theme is a contrasting orange second hand.
