The Q Timex Red Vega first appeared in 1978, and the thing that made it impossible to ignore then still holds up now: a bold red marbleized dial that looks unlike anything else on the market. John Travolta wore a vintage version as Vincent Vega in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, solidifying it as a cult object. Timex has brought it back with the same dial and paired it with a domed acrylic crystal with a multifaceted interior that refracts light across the dial, giving the watch a surprising visual depth. The 38mm brushed and polished stainless steel case keeps things compact and wearable, while a quartz movement with day and date window at 3 o'clock handles the practical side. Luminant hands and markers cover low-light readability. The glossy black natural leather strap with crocodile texture snaps on and off via quick-release spring bars, no tools needed.
