The Dime Lab Phantom Football

Kurt Benkert played quarterback for the Packers, Falcons, and 49ers before getting frustrated enough with standard football grip to design his own. The Phantom runs on what Benkert calls DimeTack, a proprietary composite leather coating that's tacky straight out of the box, skipping the mudding and rubbing most players do to break in a new ball before it's game-ready. It's built in all-black with raised, textured laces and double-stitched stripes, made from an engineered polyurethane composite designed to hold its grip even when wet and stay softer on the hands than traditional leather over long sessions. It comes in three sizes, Junior (ages 9-12), Intermediate (ages 12+), and Official (ages 14+), each sized to match youth, high school, and college-level play.
