It's hard to balance the needs of a shoe designed for nature and one designed for urban environments. The Tarvas Explorer manages to be both at once. Its upper is made from pebbled leather, with leather lining and an EVA insole for added comfort, and Tarvas' signature mudguard that wraps the entire shoe, protecting against water intrusion. On the bottom, a structured pattern lets the natural rubber outsole find footing on both city streets and slippery trails.
