Seiko’s Prospex line celebrates the company’s 140th anniversary with a limited edition chronograph.
To celebrate the 140th anniversary of Seiko's founding, its Prospex line has crafted this limited-edition Solar Chronograph. It draws its color scheme from premiere diving destination Irimote Island, with a deep, almost black Island Green on the dial and muted red subdials. They're surrounded by a black unidirectional rotating elapsed timing bezel that has thick numerals to contrast with the geometric LumiBrite markings on the dial. Joining the markings are a date window at 4:30, power reserve and 24-hour indicators, and LumiBrite hands. The watch sits on a matching stainless steel bracelet with an extending/locking tri-fold clasp; it comes with an additional green silicone strap and is limited to 4,000 examples.
