The 1960s were an exciting time for watch enthusiasts, and models from the era remain desirable today. To celebrate the 55th anniversary of the 61-5D release, Seiko has recreated the watch with the limited edition reference SRPK17. It has a period-correct 39.5mm stainless steel case, with a black dial sporting the original "Seiko 5" logo, a black uni-directional rotating bezel, and a day/date window at 3 o'clock. Notably, it was originally not available through online authorized dealers, but Uncrate was given a special exception to make it available domestically. The timepiece is powered by a modern Caliber 4R36 automatic movement, sits on a heritage stainless steel bracelet, and is limited to 15,555 individually numbered examples.
