A sleek silver Seiko watch with a single link bracelet inspired by 60s designs.
Seiko has a hefty archive from which to pull. For its Seiko 5 Sports SRPL05 Watch, which is limited to just 9,999 pieces, there are plenty of easter eggs: its boxy shape is a reference to 60s- and 70s-era designs, an era-accurate Seiko 5 logo dots the dial, and a single link stainless bracelet (meant to match the brushed stainless steel case) complete the look. It's far from bulky, though, given its compact lug-to-lug measurement. The rest of the design helps the timepiece fit right in alongside other Seiko Sports watches: there's a subtle crown at 4 o'clock, a Hardlex mineral glass layer on top, a rotating bezel with a metallic insert, and water resistance rated at a fairly safe 100m. Altogether, it's a dive watch with daily driver sensibilities.
