Editor’s Note

Roger Moore poses with a cigar at the Dorchester Hotel in London on August 1, 1972, the day he was officially announced as the new James Bond for Live and Let Die. The press photocall marked Moore's introduction as the third actor to play 007, following Sean Connery and George Lazenby, and gained immediate global attention. Moore would go on to play Bond seven times from 1973 to 1985, more than any other actor. The archival photograph is printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. Every edition is numbered from a limited run of 495.
