The legendary terroir surrounding the Rhum JM distillery plays a vital role in this unique release.
This history of Rhum JM dates back to 1790 when a sugar mill was built at the base of Mount Pelee in Martinique. A distillery since 1845, the brand has continually produced some of the finest spirits on the market. This release is no exception and uses a double-char process that results in a complex extraction of wood flavors. The environment plays a significant role as well during the three years the spirit matures. Smoke, earth, and spice blend well to create a unique spirit that is best served neat or blended into a Ti' Vieux cocktail.
