Red Wing's Classic Moc has been in continuous production since 1952, and the new 8838 gives the silhouette its most rugged treatment yet. Built on the brand's original foot mold with Goodyear welt construction and Puritan triple stitching, this 6-inch boot swaps the typical smooth leather for Sandstone Mohave roughout from the S.B. Foot Tanning Company. The tan, napped hide draws comparisons to mid-century military desert boots and only improves with age, absorbing scuffs and creases into a distinctive patina over time. The Traction Tred rubber outsole and fully rebuildable design mean this is a boot made to outlast trends. Made in Red Wing, Minnesota.
