Pro-Ject updates its sleek Debut turntable with damped feet, a damped platter, and a new cartridge.
Pro-Ject's Debut turntable was created in 1999 and was meant to offer excellent build quality and sound at an affordable price point. Nearly 25 years on, the Debut Carbon EVO still adheres to this philosophy. It retains the sleek, minimalist design of the original, but offers a host of build upgrades that include adjustable TPE-damped isolation feet, a 12-inch TPE-damped steel record platter, and a new motor suspension system that decouples the motor from the plinth to reduce the transfer of vibration. It has a carbon tonearm, a pre-installed Sumiko Rainier MM phono cartridge, and a single run of high-quality copper wiring headed directly to RCA connectors with a completely separate ground. Available in a variety of colors to match most any decor.
