In 1949, Pablo Picasso met photographer Gjon Mili, who introduced him to some of his pictures of leaping ice skaters with lights fixed to their skates. Those images served as the inspiration for Picasso's series of light drawings where he posed while projecting drawings of centaurs, bulls, and Greek profiles in a darkened room. The shutters from two cameras were left open, catching the light streaks on an invisible canvas in front of their shirtless creator. Printed to order on Fuji crystal archive paper, numbered and certified, and comes encased inside a hand-made solid wood black frame that's ready to hang. Limited edition of 495.
