New Balance's 99X series are some of the company's most iconic sneakers. The 9060 is an updated interpretation of those classics. Sway bays are borrowed from the 990, the tongue logo recalls that of the 991, and the mesh and pigskin overlay upper keeps the family aesthetic alive, as does the sculpted pod midsole. The dual-density midsole contains ABZORB and SBS cushioning and sits atop a diamond outsole pattern inspired by the 860.
