Naval Watch’s FRXD002 merges the field watch looks of the FRXA series with a useful GMT complication.
GMT functions are useful not just for frequent travelers, but for anyone wanting to keep track of time in other zones. The FRXD002 GMT from Naval Watch Co. builds on the aesthetics of the FRXA series with the ability to track time in three zones. It does so via a combination of a red arrow GMT hand and a rotating 24-hour bezel, which work alongside the hour, minute, and second hands, as well as a date window at 3 o'clock that sits under a fisheye lens. The color palette was chosen by LOWERCASE to mimic the look of a vintage piece, with a cream dial and beige lume for the indices and hands. It's powered by an automatic mechanical movement housed in a 41mm case and sits on a matching link bracelet.
