Where — and how — an animal is raised can have a huge impact on the quality and flavor of its meat. This award-winning Wagyu ribeye is sourced directly from the Miyachiku Cooperative in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. With a low farmer-to-cow ratio, every animal receives the care required to create the finest meat. Mostly fed wheat and corn, meat from the region's cattle is known for its bright red color, soft texture, and density of flavor. For best results, pan-sear on very high heat or slice paper thin and warm with a blowtorch.
Available in portions of 16- 17 oz, 4lb "big boys", or 12lb full ribeyes. All Wagyu is delivered frozen.
