A direct follow-up to 2015's SL, Leica's SL2 Camera remains the only mirrorless camera designed and crafted in Germany. It improves on the original with a suspended full-frame CMOS sensor offering 47 megapixels of resolution and in-body stabilization for outstanding low-light performance. Paired with the Maestro III processor, it enables Object Detection Autofocus that automatically switches between focus and shutter priority, 20 fps shooting with the electronic shutter, and 60 fps 4K video recording. The EVF now offers 5.76-megapixel resolution, the rear touchscreen has been enlarged to a 3.2-inch, 2.1-megapixel display, and an improved body design offers IP54 certified weather sealing for shooting out in the elements. Compatible with all SL- and TL-system lenses, plus M, S, and R-system glass via an adapter, it also has Wifi and Bluetooth for connection to the Leica Fotos app for wireless camera control and immediate editing. The result is a fully-capable camera with Leica's legendary image quality, access to their unparalleled lens collection, and modern mirrorless conveniences.
