LEGO revisits the Empire Strikes Back-era ship with this set, its first TIE Bomber in 20 years.
While not as well-known as its Fighter cousin, the TIE Bomber nonetheless plays a roll in the Star Wars saga. Set no. 75347 is a fresh release for 2023, and the first appearance of the Bomber in brick form since Set no. 4479 from 20 years ago. Made up of 625 pieces, it includes the ship with its angular wings, dual cylindrical center pieces — one that serves as the opening cockpit, and one with a warhead bay that holds 4 torpedos for dropping — and two stud shooters in between. Also included is a torpedo transport cart, minifigs of Darth Vader, Vice Admiral S@LEGO_Grouploane, and a TIE Bomber Pilot, and a Gonk Droid, the latter newly created for this set.
