Asics' Gel-Sonoma 15-50 borrows the design of its upper from a cross-country spike, but it's what's below that makes it such a capable trail shoe. The multi-material upper combines black Jacquard mesh with clay-colored suede and leather overlays. It's supported by a midsole with FF Blast Plus cushioning, a heel stabilizer for a lock-down fit, and a trampoline-inspired AHAR outsole for secure footing.
