Editor’s Note

In 1962, the Bond franchise was born. EON Pictures brought the M16 agent to life with the film adaptation of Ian Fleming's Dr. No. 007 became one of cinema's most iconic characters with a legacy that continues over 60 years later. The book James Bond. Dr. No takes fans back to the set to relive the making of the legendary film. It's filled with photos, designs, and production materials from the EON archives, some of which have never been seen, from photographers Bert Cann, Bunny Yaeger, and Bradley Smith, alongside stories and memos from the cast and crew. Written by film historian Paul Duncan, the volume will ship in March 2024. Also available is the numbered 1 through 250 "Art Edition" with the framed ChromaLuxe print Bond, James Bond, 1962 by Bert Cann. The print is Dye sublimation on ChromaLuxe aluminum panel with floating frame, and ready to hang. Standard edition and Art Edition contain the same hardcover book.
