Charles and Ray Eames' DCW gets a sleek ebony update.
Charles and Ray got their start designing furniture in their California apartment. Designed in 1946, the Eames® Molded Plywood Dining Chair (DCW) was among the first experimental designs by the couple and has since gone on to be named the Best Design of the 20th Century by Time Magazine. It delivers ergonomic comfort to the dining table with a side of mid-century style and features rounded edges and rubber shock mounts. For a sleek, modern tablescape, its plywood seat and base are presented with an ebony finish.
