Don Julio González bought his distillery — named "La Primavera" — in the 1940s. He went on to produce some of the world's finest tequilas, of which he considered reposado the best. Don Julio Primavera honors this story, starting with Don Julio's traditional Reposado and finishing it in European wine casks blessed with orange peel. The result is exceptionally smooth, with a light citrus flavor to go along with the base's notes of agave, wood, and aromatics. Best enjoyed on the rocks with an orange wheel, or in the Primavera Sunset, which combines two ounces of Primavera with three ounces of club soda.
