“The famous old brand” known as Chicken Cock adds to its history with another limited annual release.
Chicken Cock founder James A. Miller's love of whiskey was only exceeded by his love of chickens. That pairing continues to add to the brand's legend today, as evidenced by their latest limited whiskey. The fourth annual tin release draws inspiration from the Onagadori rooster - a rare bird with a long tail, which also accurately describes this Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. Limited to only 10 barrels of total production, the bourbon was finished in Mizunara Oak - a Japanese wood that takes centuries to mature before it can be used for barrels. It's bottled at 105 proof and arrives in a collector edition tin.
