Time has an effect on everything, particularly spirits. Made using agave that are 7-8 years old before being slow-cooked in traditional steam ovens, Butterfly Cannon's The Winged King Reposado Tequila allows you to taste time's effects. The cooked agave is mashed and distilled then rested in American oak barrels, resulting in a light amber drink with flavors of sweet agave, vanilla, tree nuts, cinnamon, caramel, and the oak in which it sat. It's bottled at an easily-sippable 80-proof inside an heirloom-quality black ceramic decanter with a metal butterfly stopper.
