This unique Irish Whiskey matured in bourbon barrels before they were finished in Marsala casks.
Each spirit crafted at Boann Distillery is inspired and influenced by the Boyne Valley which is part of Ireland's most prosperous archaeological landscape. One of their standout whiskies, this single pot still whiskey matured in ex-Bourbon barrels sourced from Brown Forman in Kentucky. The casks were filled with a mixed mash bill Single Pot Still distillate which included malted barley, unmalted barley, oats, and rye, all of which were grown locally. The finishing touch comes from the famous Marsala house and Superiore and Fine Marsala Butts made from (Quercus Petraea) French oak.
