Taken from the center-cut or middle sections of the famous Warehouse H, Blanton's Original Single Barrel was once designated for ambassadors, dignitaries, and Colonel Blanton's family and friends. In such high demand now thanks to its controlled allocation, a cameo in John Wick, and its justified high praise from bourbon aficionados and amateur tasters alike, putting your hands on a bottle of Blanton's can prove extremely difficult. Technically, everyone has access to the world's first single-barrel bourbon if you're willing to stand in an allocation line for hours, or spend years developing a relationship at a honey hole where you "know a guy". The even harder-to-find Blanton's "export" bottles that are typically reserved for Japan and the EU that are coveted by collectors can be nearly impossible to find stateside. We've fixed that, offering the sought-after 700mL "export" Blanton's bottles with no need to get on an allocation list or drive to 12 stores looking for one on the back shelf. As with all Blanton's Original Single Barrel, it's the same brown water found in the stateside bottles with a slightly sweet taste profile offering notes of citrus and oak. The creamy vanilla nose is teased with caramel and butterscotch, all underscored by familiar baking spices such as clove, nutmeg, or cinnamon. Please, for your own good, don't mix this stuff. It's meant to be taken neat or with just a small amount of ice. Bottled at 46.5% alcohol by volume.
