By 1994, the Beastie Boys had already rewritten the rules twice, first by smuggling punk energy into hip-hop with Licensed to Ill, then by proving it wasn't a fluke with Paul's Boutique and Check Your Head. Photographer Catherine McGann caught them backstage in New York City that May, three kids at the height of their powers, and the image has the effortless cool of a moment that didn't need to try. Now a limited edition fine art print, individually numbered, custom-framed by hand in solid wood with gallery-grade Perspex glazing, and printed on archival Fuji Crystal Archive paper.
