Editor’s Note

Barbour began in 1894 in South Shields, England, supplying oilskins to protect sailors from harsh coastal weather, and the Embleton translates that protection to your everyday boot. In this take on a Chelsea silhouette, leather is paired with waxed cotton and a waterproof membrane. The cleated sole creates traction even on wet ground, while a pull loop on each end makes them easy to slip off at the end of a long walk.
