Timex built its Q Continental Chronograph as a 40mm watch, then shrank it to 36mm to follow the industry's shift toward smaller cases. That resizing came with real tradeoffs, not just a smaller dial: the rotating bezel became fixed, and water resistance dropped from 328 feet down to 164 feet, enough for light swimming but not diving. From lug to lug, it's close to the proportions of an actual 1970s chronograph. It comes in an ice blue dial with black subdials or a black dial with silver subdials and a red stopwatch hand, both on a brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet.
