Editor’s Note

Seiko continues its line of 2023 special edition PADI watches with the SRPJ93, sporting a unique underwater-themed dial. The dial's upper pattern represents sunlight through the waves, turning to a deep blue as it fades. The 43.8mm stainless steel case uses Seiko's "samurai" design, with creases at the corners leading to the lugs and rubber strap. A unidirectional rotating bezel with ceramic insert surrounds the sapphire crystal with a magnifier over the day window and crown at the 3 o'clock position. A screwdown caseback gives the watch a water resistance of 200m and is ISO-rated for scuba diving.
