Balanced audio connections can greatly reduce the hum introduced by noisy environments. Pro-Ject Audio's XA B turntable supports balanced operation and looks great doing it. At the end of its aluminum tonearm is a first-of-its-kind balanced MM phono cartridge, which pairs with a balanced 5-pin DIN output. Connected to a balanced phono preamp, it produces outstanding clarity. The die-cast aluminum platter is damped with TPE and sits above a gorgeous clear acrylic plinth, supported by purpose-selected isolation feet. Switch-mode power supplies help clean the power from wall outlets, and an included high-quality DIN to RCA cable supports use with non-balanced equipment.
