A rare 21-year-old Japanese blended malt combining Nikka's Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries.
Named for Masataka Taketsuru, the father of Japanese whisky, this exceptional 21-year-old expression brings together the distinctive characters of Nikka's Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. Crafted entirely from malt whisky and matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, it offers layers of ripe fruit, dark chocolate, honey, and subtle peat smoke. The palate introduces peach, vanilla, roasted nuts, and warm spices before a long, evolving finish. A multiple-time winner of World's Best Blended Malt Whisky honors, Taketsuru 21 has become increasingly sought after as older Japanese whisky stocks have grown scarce.
