George Nelson's classic mid-century caddy reimagined with powder-coated steel and walnut.
In 1947, George Nelson was named the Director of Design for Herman Miller®. While overseeing designers like Ray and Charles Eames and Richard Schultz, he produced his own pieces, including the Nelson® Fireplace Caddy. It was initially produced in 1950 and features an updated construction with a powder-coated steel frame, solid walnut dowels, and a canvas sling. Durable and functional, the mid-century accessory is a welcome addition to modern firesides. Pairs well with the Nelson® Fireplace Tool Set.
