Naval Watch's FRXA field watch already had a following in Japan's urban military watch scene. The FRXD001 builds on it by adding a full GMT complication, a second time zone tracked via a fourth hand against a unidirectional 24-hour bezel, readable at a glance without touching the crown. The design was developed with LOWERCASE creative director Yoshiyuki Kajiwara, who brought the vintage GMT color logic: black dial, black bezel with silver indices, and a matched GMT hand. The boxed acrylic crystal with a fisheye lens over the date window is a deliberate period touch, giving it the domed, slightly distorted look of a 1960s travel watch. Movement is the TMI NH34, a Japanese-made automatic with hand-wind, running at 41 hours of reserve. Case is 40.8mm across and 13.7mm thick in 316L stainless, on a tapered three-link bracelet. 5 ATM water resistance. Made in Japan.
