Turning film into a print used to be a laborious process. Then instant cameras came along, providing on-the-spot gratification, and now nearly every photo is digital and few are printed at all. Leica's Sofort 2 bridges the gap. As a hybrid camera, it has a CMOS sensor that captures digital images, but housed inside a compact body with a physical lever to turn those images into Instax Mini prints. Bluetooth allows the camera to interface with a companion app, and thus serve as a wireless printer for smartphone photos. A built-in flash allows for nighttime use, and the 3-inch LCD provides visual confirmation of what, exactly, you're printing out.
