A restored Soriana icon pairing supple burgundy leather, oversized cushions, and polished chrome.

Introduced in 1969 and awarded the Compasso d'Oro, the Soriana challenged the idea that luxury seating needed a rigid silhouette. Afra and Tobia Scarpa instead wrapped oversized cushions in a polished chrome frame, creating the distinctive gathered form that has made the design a landmark of Italian modernism. This four-seat example has been professionally restored by Hobbs Modern and newly upholstered in rich burgundy full-aniline leather, pairing the supple character of the hide with the cool precision of the chrome structure. The set includes its matching ottoman, with Cassina labels present on both pieces.
