Inspired by ancient Egyptian mythology and finished with ingredients rarely associated with rye whiskey, The Golden Pharaoh is one of WhistlePig's most distinctive Boss Hog releases. This limited single-barrel rye begins in new American oak before spending additional time in barrels seasoned with Egyptian black honey and tiger nut, layering molasses, toasted almond, brown sugar, cinnamon, and baking spice over a peppery rye foundation. Bottled at barrel strength, each bottle captures the character of its individual cask, while an elaborate pewter pharaoh topper and tomb-inspired collector box make the presentation as memorable as the whiskey itself.
