UNIMATIC built the Modello Tre around a meca-quartz movement, a hybrid that pairs quartz timekeeping accuracy with a genuinely mechanical chronograph, so pressing the oversized, screw-down pushers engages real gears rather than an electronic simulation. The 40mm stainless steel case measures 41.5mm across its 120-click mono-directional dive bezel, rated to 984 feet and individually pressure-tested rather than just spec'd on paper. Its aluminum-colored dial pairs with a matte white subdial for contrast, using Super-LumiNova C1 for low-light visibility and a double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside face. The caseback carries a distinctive wrinkled texture, and the battery inside is rated for roughly three years before it needs replacing. Each of the 250 individually numbered pieces ships with two seatbelt NATO straps, one olive drab and one black.
