Timex built this Waterbury Heritage Chronograph as an homage to motorsport styling: a black dial and matching subdials framed by a bold red anodized pusher and a perforated red leather strap that evokes classic racing gear. A meca-quartz movement pairs quartz-powered timekeeping with a mechanical chronograph module for a smooth sweeping second hand, a small but real departure from the ticking motion of a standard quartz watch. The 39mm stainless steel case wears its own bit of motorsport detail in the black tachymeter bezel, letting the chronograph double as a speed calculator against a fixed distance.
