Slim Aarons 'Sunbathing In Arizona' Framed Print

The desert landscape of Carefree, Arizona, provides the backdrop for one of Slim Aarons' more provocative portraits of poolside leisure. Photographed in April 1967, Sunbathing In Arizona captures a nude woman relaxing beside the swimming pool at Tom Darlington's home, embodying the freedom and understated luxury of the era. The composition reflects Aarons' fascination with the private retreats of the affluent, where striking architecture, natural surroundings, and unhurried afternoons became subjects in their own right. Reproduced on archival photographic paper and custom-framed by hand, the image brings a distinctive piece of 1960s desert modernism to the wall.
