There are dive watches, and then there are dive watches officially endorsed by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors, or PADI. The Seiko SPRK01 PADI Special Edition marks the partnership between Seiko and PADI, with a dial that mimics the view from under the waves. A stylized pattern fades into deep blue, as the sunlight fades from the surface, and is set with LumiBrite indices. Seiko's 4R36 automatic movement with manual winding and hack function powers LumiBrite hands and a magnified day and date window at 3 o'clock, all under a sapphire crystal. And of course, SPRK01 meets ISO standards for diving, with a water resistance of 200 meters.
