This reimagining of Seiko's first sport watch combines luxe aesthetics and all-terrain toughness.
A descendant of Seiko's first sport watch, the Seiko Laurel Alpinist, which was introduced in 1959, the go-anywhere, do-anything Seiko Prospex Alpinist features a rich, sunray green dial with gold accents beneath Sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating and a screw-down crown with a built-in rotating inner compass bezel so you never lose your way, whether you're atop the mountain or in the ritzy town beneath it. Fixed on a brown leather strap, the watch also features LumiBrite hands and markers, a magnified date window for easy legibility, and a 24-jewel automatic movement with a power reserve of roughly 70 hours.
