An homage to the mythical Italian maritime icon, of which less than 800 were ever made.
Of the estimated 760 Riva Aquarama speedboats made between 1962, when it first debuted, and 1996, when the business stopped production, experts assume less than 650 remain. That makes the existing models, with their rich mahogany bodies, Robin's egg blue accents, chrome hardware, and wraparound glass windshields, exceptionally rare, mythical even. Simply put: you're lucky ever to see one in real life. That said, you can still see the Italian maritime icon up close and personal, though, thanks to Assouline's book dedicated to the Carlo Riva-designed vessel published in celebration of its 60th anniversary. Bask in the boat's dolce vita charm in this 200-plus page homage, which comes in a special edition mahogany box.
