Argentina takes its grilling seriously enough that the word for a backyard cookout, asado, is also the word for the meal itself. Karbo was founded by Argentine-Swiss designers who brought that same conviction to a problem the outdoor industry has largely failed to solve: a portable gas grill that doesn't feel like a compromise. The body is die-cast aluminum with a powder-coated finish in six colors and stainless steel interior walls. A modular cooking system lets you swap between enameled iron grill grates and a full-size SUS 304 stainless steel griddle, and a single stainless steel burner running on propane delivers 6,500 BTU per hour across 170 square inches of cooking surface. Grill grates angle slightly forward to direct grease into a removable drip tray. With a compact suitcase format under 30 pounds, now you can char a skirt steak on the rim of Moab.
