Grass Nuckles Mallet Putter

The Grass Nuckles putter was first prototyped in 2011 as a novelty item, the kind of gag gift you'd find spinning on a rack near the pro shop register. Turning it into something you could actually use on a green took over a decade, including an engineer who'd worked with major manufacturers reworking the head until it met USGA specifications. The result still looks like something a little dangerous: a 360-gram solid forged brass mallet head, gripped in PU leather and mounted on a standard 35-inch shaft. It comes with a matching embroidered head cover and ships built for left- or right-handed golfers. The putter's whole appeal is that tension: it reads like a weapon but plays by the rules.
