Barbour built the Nimbus to look like a Chelsea boot but work like a proper country wellington, the kind inspired by the muddy gardens and wet fields of the British countryside, where Barbour has outfitted farmers for generations. The waterproof rubber gets reshaped around elasticated side gussets and pull tabs borrowed from the Chelsea silhouette, with a mudguard running along the front to fend off splashes and dirt. Finished in Shadow Classic Tartan, it's just as much a gardening boot as it is rain gear, built for stepping outside without a second thought about the weather.
