In 2012, Daniel Brix and Philip Lotko set out to reimagine traditional rainwear; thus, Rains was born. The Copenhagen-based brand took inspiration from its native climate and Scandinavian design to give classic outerwear pieces a modern edit. Over the last decade, the company has expanded to include everything from raincoats and bags to puffers and sunglasses. At Rains core is its signature fabric, a custom-developed PU material that is water- and wind-resistant while maintaining a lightweight, breathable texture. Staying true to their Danish heritage, the brand takes a minimalist approach to their range of elevated essentials, focusing on quality and functionality.
