Timex built this 40mm stainless steel Q Timex as a tribute to the 1972 Apollo 17 mission, reworking the brand's 1970s sport silhouette with a black multifunction dial. Three sub-dials track day of the week, date, and a sun and moon day/night indicator, with a luminous moon graphic on the day sub-dial that glows in line with the hands and markers. The caseback features a full-color reproduction of the Blue Marble, the photograph of Earth shot by the Apollo 17 crew on their journey home. Specs include a 13.5mm case, quartz movement, domed acrylic crystal, ornamental tachymeter bezel, fully brushed 18mm stainless bracelet with deployant clasp, and 50 meters of water resistance.
